Teenagers, 9th Grade and above, are invited to attend this peer-driven community media program. The Next Wave Academy is built by and for High School Students in collaboration with ARTxFM Staff. Students of the Academy will produce a live radio program from the WXOX studios and emerge with tools for broadcasting online from anywhere in the world! This year's Academy will take place June 6 - 10, 2022 from 10AM to 1PM daily. At the Academy, student DJs get hands-on experience with the equipment in the ART FM studio and obtain the FCC training required for FM Broadcasting. will the world catch on?ĪRTxFM's NEXT WAVE: TEEN RADIO ACADEMY is a summer learning adventure that provides Louisville area high school students with the skills they need to become professional broadcasters.
